John Deere 2000 Series 4WD Compact Tractor

The John Deere 2000 Series is the cream of the Compact utility tractors. I have owned a bunch in 20 years and this is the one to have.  Very powerful. Feels like more than 40 hp Reliable, never fails to start right up and do what is needed and its Possible it will have a  good resale value.

Downside: Only one handle on fender. I wouldnt mind steps on both sides but not huge deal. Have had to do battery as well on these.

Overall, this is a great tractor for its size.

John Deere EZtrak Z225

The John Deere EZtrak Z225 mows well at the higher speed settings and the pattern doesn't look chopped, as if I cut it with a scissors.The lawn tractor turns on a dime. One of my only complaints however, is the frustrating fact that it is a real gas guzzler.

Although, it requires some seasonal maintenance (any mower do) it is relatively hassle free too. You can easily cut a 1/4 acre in 15 minutes.

Steering is easy, and it handles like much more expensive mower. If you have a large area to mow. Or if you have many obstacles in your yard. The zero turn radius feature is truly a big help.

This is a Lawn Tractor that wll not disapoint.
